A road somewhere
Sawtell dawn, Coffs Coast
Mount Solitary and the Three Sisters
The Grand Canyon, Blue Mountains.
This where the actual canyon emerges from its almost totally dark cavern into the emerald light of the rainforest. A great spot to sit and think.
The cold seeps in
The sun just seeks out from under the cloud cover before diving over the horizon.
Red Sky at night?
Between the boughs
Cold dark and windy
Looking south towards Belconnen town centre from Lake Ginninderra
Black water reflections
Fog and concrete
The quiet stillness of an early winters morning contrasts the frantic road traffic noise only meters away.
Under the bridge
Canberra is so neat and tidy ( mostly ). Even the graffiti is done on government sanctioned public walls and is often left untouched by other 'artists' for weeks.
This bay on Lake Ginninderra is a favourite for picnickers in summer. In autumn it is often deserted. Possibly because of the green pole. This is an effluent vent and it can easily ruin the picturesque setting.
Autumn colour spills over a paling fence in our yard.
Sunrise and power poles
The Monaro highway early in the morning
Barbed wire and golden grass
